World War II is considered to be one of the most memorable events in
the history of the human race. This event changed the political and the
diplomatic policies in many states and countries all over the world, and
has caused one of the biggest losses in human life. But if you set all
these aside, you might end up asking: what started all the conflict in

The October Revolution in Germany –this unsuccessful
Communist revolution instilled fear in the minds of many Germans.
Street wars and government instability led the people to seek a
single leader to bring back peace and economic stability – Hitler
being one of the main candidates.
- German Invasion of Poland. After Hitler took over the
country as Chancellor, a fake attack on a said minor German radio
station by Polish armies gave Germany the motive to occupy
neighboring Poland. France and Britain, being an ally of the
occupied country, ran to Poland’s aide and declared war against
Germany.
- The Mukden Incident. This is a part of the Sinu-Japanese
War which started with the invasion of the Japanese Army into
Manchuria. The war was triggered when a Japanese owned railway was
destroyed in the Manchuria, and the Chinese receiving most of the
blame. This became the first step to Japan’s invasion plan on other
Pacific countries.
- The Attack of Pearl Harbor – although US has already been
in the war for quite some time, Japan’s attack on a US base in the
Pacific led to the US taking on more drastic offensive measures
against the Axis forces – the highlight of which is the atomic
bombing on two Japanese towns.

Japan and Germany became the forefront invaders of World War II,
but World War II background already tells us that it was foiled by
the resistance from Allied nations, namely Britain, USSR and America
– dubbed as the “Big Three”.
Today, there are many conflicts occurring in many countries, it may
not be as bloody as the old WWII that we know of but these events
still take heavy toll on human life. Knowing even just a fraction of
